Our mission is to redefine the traditional hunting club for the 21st century, continually improving efficiency, success rates, and member experience in the field.

Background

Our success in the field is proudly transparent. During hunting season, we update our live harvest totals up to the minute through the Flights Canceled tab available publicly, located at the top right of our website. This real-time tracker displays harvest numbers as members actively hunt. Soon, we’ll also be publicly sharing band data from harvested birds, providing even more insights.

We frequently receive the question, “How many birds did you shoot last season?” At Fowl Feathers Hunt Club, honesty is our policy. We don’t inflate our numbers to attract new members. Fowl Feathers Hunt Club is a self-guided, private, and progressive hunting and gun club, meticulously crafted for waterfowlers who prioritize integrity, sportsmanship, and a deep passion for their sport. Established for those who live and breathe waterfowling, our members are dedicated hunters ready to brave any conditions nature throws their way. With a modern, DIY approach, Fowl Feathers empowers the committed waterfowler, offering exclusive land access without the need for guides. For us, waterfowling isn’t just a pastime; it’s a lifestyle.

Our members have access to thousands of prime acres across Cook, Grundy, Lake, McHenry, Kane, Kendall, Will, and Lake County, IN. With properties spread across diverse hunting zones, members can pursue waterfowl across multiple regions. Fowl Feathers Hunt Club (FFHC) is also actively expanding its footprint, seeking new properties in DeKalb and Ogle Counties. Our hunting aligns strictly with Regular Seasons in Illinois North and Central Zones and Indiana North Zone, ensuring a quality and regulated experience.

FFHC operates under a set of bylaws and enforces strict Social Media and Code of Conduct Policies. Our club governance is handled by an elected committee, with the sole purpose of enhancing hunting opportunities for our members and their guests. As a member driven organization, we are run by the members, for the members.

To ensure a premium hunting experience, FFHC maintains limited membership, allowing each member the opportunity to hunt every day. Our randomized draw system lets members select their preferred hunting locations, with the draw occurring at least one day in advance. This system maximizes time afield, eliminating long clubhouse waits and getting members directly into their blinds. With real-time harvest data, GPS-coordinated satellite imagery, live location updates, and comprehensive site access, members can track, plan, and enjoy an uninterrupted hunting experience.
